The Central Rappahannock Regional Library offers free access to EBSCO (magazine and newspaper archives) and eLibraryPlus (magazine archives).  When you get to the CRRL site, choose "Online Databases." You'll need your library card to access either database.

An alternative source for recent historical weather statistics. This commercial site (accuracy NOT guaranteed), has private weather stations all over the country. Type the zip code for the city you’re interested in, then scroll down to “Personal Weather Stations” and pick the one closest to your chosen location. Once you’re on one of their pages, choose “Select another date.” The various weather stations’ archives range from a few months to a few years back.
